The Story of Madi’s Movement
Madi’s Movement was founded by Effie Santos as a heartfelt tribute to her daughter, Madison Ebie, and her dreams of making a difference in the world. Madison, with her vibrant spirit and unwavering determination, envisioned herself as someone who could influence positive change.
As she once declared, “I am ridiculously passionate about becoming someone famous and important to help people because I can serve society more positively. I don’t have it all together, but I have a plan and I will change the WORLD!” Inspired by Madison’s passion and drive, Effie established Madi’s Movement to carry forward her daughter’s vision of empowering foster teens to reach their full potential.
The organization focuses on providing the support and resources necessary to help these young individuals build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills, ensuring they are equipped to face the challenges of the real world and achieve their dreams.

By partnering with industry leaders and professionals, Career Connections exposes foster teens to diverse career opportunities. It helps them build networks and gain insights into various fields, bridging gaps between foster teens and potential employers. - Financial Foundations
This initiative equips foster teens with essential financial skills, such as budgeting, credit education, and planning for financial success. The goal is to foster financial independence and stability through practical knowledge and hands-on experience. - SuperSkills Academy
The academy helps teens discover and develop their unique talents, providing tools for career readiness, including resume building, mock interviews, and professional etiquette, to prepare them for the job market.
