A Recap of Our 3rd Annual Tree of Giving
January 7, 2025
The Tree of Giving holds a special place in our hearts as the very first event hosted by the Nursey Foundation!
It all began two years ago with our 1st Annual Tree of Giving, when our four co-founders decided they wanted to do more than simply donate toys—they wanted to experience the joy firsthand by seeing the kids’ faces light up as they opened their presents. They were eager to be part of the impact, creating a moment of connection and celebration.
Since then, the Annual Tree of Giving has grown and flourished each year. This year, we focused on supporting group homes and homeless families, providing personalized gifts for over 400 children.
In the weeks leading up to the event, we collected wish lists from the children, allowing us to shop for exactly what they dreamed of for Christmas. Our dedicated team wrapped over 1,800 gifts by hand, making sure every present felt as special as the child receiving it.
The big day was nothing short of magical. Kids and families arrived to a warm welcome that included a meet-and-greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus, crafting homemade ornaments, and even hanging out with the Grinch.
Dinner was served buffet-style, offering plenty of delicious options. For dessert, there was an array of sweet treats, including milk and cookies, a donut wall, and more. Afterward, the celebration continued with an epic dance party, complete with large dancing robots and a DJ. Honey’s Mini Therapy Adventures even stopped by to add a touch of fun and comfort to the evening with the Mini Horses!
As the night came to a close, each child opened their personalized gifts and left with smiles and memories to last a lifetime. It was an incredible honor to share in the holiday joy and create such a meaningful experience for the families we served.
