For any family, the experience of having a child who is seriously ill or lives with a disability can profoundly alter both emotional and financial aspects of life. Finding the right knowledge and support structure to make informed decisions regarding your child’s care, development, and well-being can be a daunting, often overwhelming task.

Recognizing this, the Nursey Foundation has seen that stability and normalcy take on new meanings for families navigating these unplanned journeys. Common experiences among parents, as echoed in published literature, include feelings of hopelessness, confusion, and a lack of necessary knowledge and support. In response, we have fostered partnerships with families, professionals, and communities aimed at helping families cope emotionally through shared experiences and, where possible, alleviating financial burdens.
